Assignment 2

okay, I got another assignment, and this comes from an Idea I got from Brina. use a white erase board and draw: anything. you may draw anything you wish but it must take up the whole board. if you don't have a white erase board use a chalkboard and take a picture of it.

Re:Assignment (My 10 min Sketch)

I drew a a centaur. She is standing on top of a cliff,  letting a bird go and the sun is setting.
I don't really know how to shade, but I think I did alright.

A girl with her guitar

this is a sketch inspired by Mark Crilley's 'girl with a guitar' drawing tutorial, and though I did not watch it while drawing this, I kept it in mind.

Manga girl with headphones

this is another manga illustration, and this time it's someone that didn't come from my imagination. 'Everybody wants to be with me, I got all I need, to feel invincible, with my head phones on!' I love that song.

1st assignment!

okay, splatterer's, our first assignment is what I call an ink-shpill! take a pen, one sheet of paper, and sit down for a total of ten minutes. you cannot throw your paper away or get a new one. you can draw many things or just one; but you have to draw for 10 minutes, with a pen.
the point of this exercise is too do away with perfection. I have found it very helpful in the past.

now Ink-shpill away!

Hi I'm Brina Brink

H, I'm Brina Brink.
I don't draw people as well as Rachel does and mainly draw animals. I can't draw on the computer at all! I would gladly sell you some of my art through Paypal, so feel free to ask for them. :D
Once in a while I would like to take a art request from a viewer.

Here is a picture I did back in Oct.

'Furry Fun.'  drawn with pencil and colored with markers.

Cityscape, by Rachael

Back in July I got into this cityscape phase where I always managed to include the tops of buildings in my art. Here is one of my favorites, depicting a teenage boy I know( in my head) as Johnathon Smith. He enjoys skateboarding and listening to music. :)
I have used painter before but only to doodle, This was my first time applying it to my own Art work, and though it is not perfect, it is still beautiful to me.
Cityscape - drawn B&W in two phases, first the person,in march, and the background, In July.
Cityscape - colored in Coral Painter 3x.
